Cat Paint Sketch

This piece caught my attention very quickly, possibly because of its simply adorable subjects. Regardless of why I initially clicked on this image, I'm glad I did.
First of all I would like to say that the overall soft atmosphere of this painting is great. The softness of the kittens is also found in their affectionate gesture and is finalized by the physical softness of the overall piece.
The impressionist style and wild brush strokes give this painting a lot of great texture, especially evident in the fur of the cats. furthermore, although it was done in a very impressionistic style, this piece has very strong realistic quality to it. The larger details such as the breed of the cats is very clear. similarly, and more importantly, the smaller details are also very clear, such as poses of the cats and the placement of their arms. All of these aspects are very clear because you have painted the subtle changes in tone and colour very effectively.
